About Andy Lau

My name is Andy Lau. I am Founder, Chairman & CEO of AskVenture.com.

I have had substantial work experience with international law firm in which I specialize in private equity and venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.

Throughout my practice, I have represented some of the most prominent international private equity firms and occasionally startup and growth companies at all stages of development. Most of these companies are involved in the industries of technology, medical, pharmaceutical, real estate, retail and media.

I have also worked on numerous offshore and onshore transactions in connection with foreign direct investments in China and sino-foreign joint ventures. I am currently based in Hong Kong.
